This one color zine was printed in response to the work of Takenobu Igarashi and his use of typography to create three dimensional forms. The compositions started as three dimensional constructions made of old vinyl lettering and cut out laser printed letters. I experimented with various lighting setups to get different combinations of light and shadow, abstracting the letters even further. The resulting images were printed on transparencies and randomly layered on the Risograph to create abstract compositions. These compositions were then bound into the zine, combining the original compositions into new random pairings.
